The Rigby High School Choirs form one of the several fine arts programs offered in the Jefferson Joint School District #251.  Throughout the year, more than 300 students of the various groups participate in a busy schedule comprising of many activities and performances, often joining in several local community events as well as others in surrounding states. All performances are open to the public.  Please check back often as we invite you to join us on our journey of discovery through music.

Meet the Director

Picture
Corbin Rasmussen joined the faculty at Rigby High School in June 2014. He completed his Bachelors of Music Education, at BYU-Idaho in Rexburg, Idaho. Before moving to Idaho, he attended Washington State University where he studied both music and science. He later transferred to BYU-Idaho in the fall of 2010 where he continued his music studies. While there, he sang baritone and bass as a member and assistant director of the Collegiate Singers and the Men's Choir. He has worked with renown artists such as Eric Whitacre, and performed in many prestigious venues including Carnegie Hall in New York City. Mr. Rasmussen studied voice and conducting with Dr. Kevin Brower and Dr. Randall Kempton. He currently serves as the artistic director and choral conductor for the Eastern Idaho Chorale. He is a professional member of the American Choral Directors Association, the National Association for Music Educators, and Handbell Musicians of America.
